Courtyard Detroit Utica Hotel, Utica

Stepped into the room and found some garbage from the previous guest under the bed skirt, and there was a hint of horrible body odor lingering. However, the room was ultimately clean, which was a relief. The service stood out with very friendly staff who went above and beyond to be accommodating. The location was a bit neglected but redeemed itself by being near everything on Hall Road. The dining experience was a mix of miscommunication and limited menu items, and the facilities met basic standards.

Staying in a balcony room was a nice experience overall, despite some cleanliness issues. The room was neat, clean, and had a pleasant scent. The service, especially at the front desk and coffee stand, was very accommodating and friendly, going the extra mile to meet my special requests.
